Andrew Greenhill

Andrew Greenhill - CEO

Andrew (46) after a brief period doing accountancy work following his qualification as a cost and management accountant had a successful career in manufacturing industry and general management before joining the quality sector almost ten years ago. In this highly focused service sector he has worked in senior positions for two of the worlds leading bodies spending over six years with Lloyds Quality Assurance and then over three with SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance).

An assured and confident self starter he has a broad range of experience, he has held positions in certification business's which include managing operational centres and training / consulting business. He has also been responsible for the setting up and running of key account teams with a global remit. Finally he has been heavily involved with the development of SGS's service Certification mark which has given him good experience on the development and implementation issues surrounding new certification standards.

Chris Almgill

Chris Almgill - Chairman

Chris took early retirement from the position of Group Chief Executive of the Festival Housing Group in the summer of 2003. The Festival Group owns around 8,000 homes in two RSL's and has subsidiaries providing care services, building maintenance and market rented accommodation.

Prior to this Chris was Director of Environmental Health and Housing at Malvern Hills D.C. In addition to QHS Chris's current roles include:

  • Vice Chair of Worcester Community Housing and Chair of their appointments panel.
  • A Housing Corporation appointee on the Board of Walsall Housing Group.
  • Chris also works as an independant housing consultant.
Bob Dinwiddy

Bob Dinwiddy

Bob retired from the Housing Corporation in 2006 after five years as Assistant Chief Executive in charge of the registration and regulation of English housing associations. During that time he was responsible for introducing and progressively refining a new regime based on the principles of better regulation.

Before joining the Corporation he spent more than thirty years in the civil service in a wide range of jobs, many of them concerned with the environment and regeneration. From 1996 to 1999 he was responsible for the sponsorship of the Housing Corporation and for policy on housing associations.

Trevor Nash

Trevor Nash

Trevor is a certification industry professional who has worked in certification and related activities for over 30 years. He has a detailed knowledge of the certification business, certification schemes, the International Standards relating to certification and accreditation and the global conformity assessment infrastructure.

He has run large operational teams in two major certification bodies and also been responsible for the development of new certification schemes.
Previous employers include: -

  • The British Board of Agreement.
  • The British Standards Institution
  • National Quality Assurance/ The NICEIC Group.

He was a Non Executive Director of the Association of British Certification Bodies (past Chairman), and is a member of the Certification Committee of the International Register of Certified Auditors. Trevor has also been a board member of NQA/NICEIC and has sat on the UKAS Policy Advisory Committee.
